Some notes:1. 密切[mìqiè]   For people we’d use 亲密[qīnmì].

2. 大不一样 compare to 不大一样 (not a big difference).

Analysis: For this question, you could just use your common sense by choosing the only correct sentence without reading the passage, D. Each/both 各[gè] North and South food products have their own special characteristics.
